Spiritual Direction has been invaluable to me in recent years. When Dallas Willard was asked, “What do I need to do to become the me I want to be?” He replied, “You must ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. There is nothing else. Hurry is the great enemy of spiritual life in our day.” (Comer, 2019). I entered Spiritual Direction with Terri, in a state of hurry, burnout and fatigue. My life was full and my soul was empty.
Terri created space where I was able to let go of the junk I was feeding myself and make space to listen to what God was saying to me. She guided me with silence, meditation, Bible passages and thought provoking, soul expanding questions. More importantly, she led me with love, God’s love, and her love for humanity. She has taught me to weave a world where I live, knowing God understands the rhythm of my spirit and knows my heart thoughts. I see now He is as close as breathing.

Having Terri as my Spiritual director has forever changed my life. Each time we meet, she leads me into a Divine encounter with the Lord, as together we listen in to the whispers of the Holy Spirit.
